Michael Barnhart is founder and Chief Executive Officer of SecuriGence. In addition to guiding day-to-day business operations and strategic direction, he actively supports clients in the areas of Cyber Security and Systems Engineering. Michael has 15 years of technology engineering and security experience, supporting organizations such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Lockheed Martin, and the General Services Administration. Since founding SecuriGence in 2010, he has led the company to a compound annual growth rate of 89%.
Michael served in the United States Air Force as a Communications and Computer Systems Operations Specialist, where he spent the majority of his tenure stationed in Japan supporting Command and Control (C2) systems. He attended the Pennsylvania State University and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), among other professional certifications.
Tai Truong joined SecuriGence in July 2011 as Vice President and Director of Technology. He is responsible for steering technical engineering, product and service development, and cloud efforts, as well as supporting business development and strategic direction. Prior to SecuriGence, he led a dynamic engineering team for a Department of Defense R&D program that filled a critical technology gap in the Iraq and Afghanistan theaters of operation. This R&D program was successfully transitioned to the U.S Army as a Program of Record. Tai actively supports clients in the areas of Cyber Security and Systems Engineering. He has 11 years of technology engineering and security experience, supporting organizations such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, General Dynamic C4S, and the General Services Administration. Tai earned a Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Network Engineering from Strayer University.
As Vice President of Operations, Philip Chambers leads the drive for organizational excellence in our products and services at SecuriGence, and is responsible for creating our business operational goals, metrics, and continuous improvement plan for all aspects of the company. Mr. Chambers joined SecuriGence in 2013 and has been integral to the growth of the company. He has extensive experience in Program and Project Management for Operations and Support within Information Technology to include Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Help Desk, and Cyber Security. Mr. Chambers was the lead Program Manager for the Headquarters Relocation Fit-Out of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) and oversaw the move and build-out of DARPA’s network infrastructure and IT services. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Marshall University in Management Information Systems, is an ITIL:9001 certified auditor, and holds certifications such as ITFL-F and Security + CE.
